Input on Modernized Accreditation Guidelines – Everyone Welcome

Sunday, May 27, 2018
Shaw, Salon 5

CSC accreditation is the process that recognizes high quality undergraduate chemistry and related programs. CSC accredited programs are the basic educational standard required for registration of professional chemists by provincial professional associations. In addition, CSC accreditation underpins our system to facilitate migration of Professional Chemists between provinces.

In this informal drop-in session, we will be showing various options to improve the current guidelines, for example relating to inclusion, diversity, and equity, learning outcomes, and pedagogy. We looking for opinions on the proposed changes from anyone attending the conference, including undergraduate students, graduates, postdoctoral fellows, professors, industry and government professionals, etc.! Did we mention there would be snacks?
